How does Virtual training work?

Virtual training is very similar to Webex or GoToMeeting conference. You will be able to Log-in to a LIVE training session where you will see exactly what the students in a live classroom would see.

What time-zone is the Virtual training sessions conducted?

Time-zones are based on where the Live training session is taking place. For example, if the Live training is being conducted in Washington DC, it will be Washington DC time. If the Live training session is conducted in Dubai, it will be Dubai time-zone and so on…

Will I receive any materials before my virtual training starts?

Yes. You will receive all your course materials 1 week before your class starts. For students who are participating in a in-classroom session, materials will be given to students on the first day.

Would I be able to mix it up onsite classes and virtual classes?

Yes! Book any seat and then email us to coordinate the logistics for you.

Do you offer discounts for groups?

Yes, if you have a group of 5+, please email us at training@techxact.com so we can assist you.

Do you offer discounts for Veterans?

Yes, we offer 10% Veteran discount. To qualify for this offer, please book your seat through a sales representative by emailing training@techxact.com.

Who is the certification authority and issuer?

International Data Center Authority (www.idc-a.org).

How long will it take for me to receive my examination results?

Results normally take less than 7 days. All results will be sent to you electronically via email.

After I receive my results, how long will it take for me to receive my certification(s)?

Certifications normally take less than 7 days after you receive your examination results. All certifications will be sent to the mailing address you provide when you register your seat at idc-a.org.

I lost my certificate. How do I get it re-issued?

It’s simple. Email certifications@idc-a.org with your full name, company name (if applicable), where you took your course, what courses you took, date you took your course and IDCA will take care of your certification directly.

Do I have to take an exam?

Examination is optional but highly recommended to gain IDCA certifications. The cost of examination is included in the course cost.

How difficult is the exam?

Our philosophy is, as long as you listen to the class lecturer and participate, you will be fine. Our success rate is over 95%.

What is the exam format?

All exams are taken online. 50 questions, multiple choice. Pass mark is 75%.

What happens if I fail my exam?

You will be given 2 chances to re-take your examination. Simply email us on training@techxact.com to schedule your re-examination.

What do the course prices include?

Prices include course materials, examinations, certifications as well as breakfast and lunch everyday. For virtual sessions, course fees include course materials, examinations and certifications.

What kind of payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, wire transfer, PO and corporate check.

I don’t see my preferred payment method. What can I do?

I am paying out of my own pocket. Do you offer any financing options?

Yes! To help our data center community, we are very proud to offer interest free financing on all our courses and programs. Email us at training@techxact.com and a representative will provide you further details.

What is your cancellation policy?

Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given after registration has been processed.
